With the news of IW officially announcing that MW2 will not contain dedicated servers TacticalRealism.net is officially supporting a boycott of the upcoming release of MW2. There is only one way to show IW how displeased we are and that is by not purchasing this game. I hope that the TR community will join together with the rest of the CoD communities and show their support for this. This seems a feeble attempt by IW and Activision to destroy the style of gaming that we have enjoyed for years.
This is essentially a dagger to the heart of not only tactical clans but to every clan/unit who was looking to support the upcoming release. I hope that everyone will assist us in spreading the word of this boycott. I will be posting a similar message on all affiliated units sites as well as those not affiliated. It would also help if teams would post a streaming message on their servers announcing, "PC Gamers Unite! Cancel your MW2 Pre-Order and Boycott the game!". This will help inform other players in the public. Its sad that this has come to this but its the only thing we can do to get out message heard.
